Privacy Policy
1. Scope and Application
This Privacy Policy describes how ABALink Network (“ABALink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you access or use our website, platform, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). ABALink is a U.S.-based technology platform and does not provide clinical, supervisory, ethical, legal, or regulatory services, and nothing in this Privacy Policy creates any duty to monitor, verify, supervise, credential, or ensure any user’s professional compliance. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and should be read together with ABALink’s Terms & Conditions, and any disputes relating to privacy or data practices are subject to the dispute resolution provisions in the Terms & Conditions (including arbitration and class action waiver, where applicable). This Privacy Policy applies to supervisors, supervisees, visitors, and all users of the Services. By accessing or using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Important Notice Regarding Prohibited Information
ABALink is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not act as a “Business Associate” (as that term is defined under HIPAA). The Services are not designed or intended to receive, store, process, or transmit (i) Protected Health Information (“PHI”) or (ii) client-identifiable information (collectively, “Prohibited Information”). You are strictly prohibited from uploading, entering, storing, transmitting, or otherwise making available any Prohibited Information through the Services.
If any Prohibited Information is uploaded, entered, stored, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Services, whether intentionally or inadvertently: (a) you must immediately notify ABALink; (b) you authorize ABALink to remove, delete, restrict access to, or disable such content at ABALink’s sole discretion; (c) ABALink may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services without liability to you; and (d) you assume full responsibility and liability for the Prohibited Information and for any resulting claims, damages, losses, penalties, fines, regulatory inquiries or actions, investigation costs, notification obligations, remediation expenses, and other liabilities and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to such violation.

- Uploaded documentation (excluding Prohibited Information)

C. Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
ABALink does not store full payment card numbers.
We may receive:
- Transaction confirmation
- Billing status
- Partial payment metadata
Stripe processes payments under its own Privacy Policy.
D. Technical and Usage Data
- IP address
- Device type
- Browser type
- Log files
- Usage patterns
- Access timestamps
- Cookies and tracking identifiers
4. How We Use Information
We use information to: operate, maintain, and secure the Services; provide platform features that allow users to record, organize, and manage supervision-related documentation and communications (without providing supervision or compliance assurance); enable professional connections and account functionality; process subscriptions and payments; improve performance and functionality; detect fraud, misuse, and security incidents; enforce the Terms & Conditions and platform policies; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
5. De-Identified / Aggregated Data
We may create and use de-identified and/or aggregated data derived from information collected through the Services for lawful business purposes, including analytics, product improvement, security, and service performance. De-identified or aggregated data is not intended to identify you, and we will not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by law.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable under U.S. and Florida law, processing is based on:
- Performance of contract
- User consent
- Legitimate business interests
- Compliance with legal obligations
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information:
A. Service Providers
With vendors supporting hosting, analytics, security, and payments (including Stripe), under confidentiality agreements.
B. Legal Compliance
When required by law, subpoena, or governmental request.
C. Protection of Rights
To protect ABALink, users, or the public from fraud, misuse, or legal risk.
D. Business Transfers
In connection with merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.
We do not share personal data for advertising or marketing resale.

However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
Users are responsible for safeguarding credentials and maintaining independent backups of documentation.
9. No Guarantee / Limitation Alignment (privacy-specific)
No Guarantee; Relationship to Terms
ABALink’s security practices are designed to reduce risk, but no system can be guaranteed to be secure. This Privacy Policy does not create any warranty, guarantee, or representation regarding uninterrupted or error-free operation, security, or data retention. To the extent permitted by law, liability limitations, disclaimers, and other risk-allocation terms in the Terms & Conditions apply to privacy- and data-related claims.
10. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for:
- Providing Services
- Fulfilling contractual obligations
- Resolving disputes
- Enforcing agreements
- Meeting legal requirements
Upon cancellation:
- Access may be revoked.
- Data may be deleted after a commercially reasonable period.
- Users are responsible for downloading documentation prior to cancellation.
ABALink does not act as permanent cloud storage, subject to applicable law.

Continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
