COOKIES & TRACKING POLICY
ABALink Network
Last Updated: 2/25/2026
This Cookies & Tracking Policy explains how ABALink Network (“ABALink,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies in connection with our websites, platform, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
ABALink is a technology platform. Nothing in this Cookies & Tracking Policy creates any duty to monitor, verify, supervise, credential, or ensure any user’s professional compliance.
- What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online service. We may also use similar technologies such as SDKs (software development kits), local storage, pixels and SDKs used for service measurement and performance analytics (and not for advertising or remarketing), and server logs (collectively, “Cookies and Similar Technologies”) to support the operation, security, performance measurement, and improvement of the Services. - Categories of Cookies We Use
We generally use the following categories:
A. Strictly Necessary Cookies (Essential)
These cookies are required for the Services to function and cannot be disabled through an in-product cookie toggle (if offered), because without them the Services may not work properly. Examples include cookies used to:
- authenticate users and maintain sessions;
- enable core site/platform navigation;
- protect the Services and users by supporting security features.
B. Functional Cookies
These cookies help enhance functionality and personalization. Examples include cookies used to:
- remember preferences (such as language or display settings);
- reduce repetitive prompts; and
- improve usability.
C. Analytics / Performance Cookies (Non-Essential)
These cookies help us understand how users interact with the Services (e.g., pages visited, feature usage, performance metrics) so we can improve reliability and user experience. We use analytics in a limited manner aimed at aggregated usage, performance measurement, and platform improvement.
Analytics cookies are non-essential. If you disable them, the Services should continue to function, but we may have less insight into usage patterns and performance.
- Third-Party Analytics Providers
We may use third-party analytics providers (for example, Google Analytics GA4 or similar tools) to help us measure usage and improve the Services. These providers may set their own cookies or use similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Services.
We do not authorize third-party analytics providers to use analytics data collected through ABALink for behavioral advertising on ABALink’s behalf, and ABALink does not use the Services to enable behavioral advertising, remarketing, or targeted advertising. Third-party analytics providers may process data under their own terms and privacy practices, and you should review the applicable provider policies for additional information.
Opt-outs (where available): Some analytics providers offer opt-out mechanisms (for example, browser add-ons or device-level controls). Availability and effectiveness depend on your browser, device, and provider.
- Your Choices and Controls
You have several ways to control Cookies and Similar Technologies:
A. Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to:
- delete existing cookies;
- block cookies; or
- set alerts when cookies are being placed.
If you block or delete certain cookies, parts of the Services may not function correctly (especially essential/session cookies).
B. Device Controls (Mobile)
Mobile operating systems may offer controls that affect how certain tracking technologies function. The available options vary by device and operating system.
C. “Do Not Track” Signals
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” (“DNT”) signals. Because there is not yet a consistent industry standard for interpreting DNT signals, ABALink does not respond to DNT signals in a uniform way across all browsers and contexts. We will continue to evaluate DNT and similar signals as standards evolve and as required by applicable law.
- Information Collected Through Cookies and Similar Technologies
Depending on how you use the Services and the settings you choose, information collected may include:
- device and browser information (e.g., browser type, device type, operating system);
- IP address and approximate location derived from IP;
- usage and performance data (e.g., pages/screens viewed, time spent, error logs, feature interactions);
- identifiers associated with cookies or similar technologies.
This information is used as described in this Cookies & Tracking Policy and our Privacy Policy.
- Data Retention (High-Level)
We retain cookie-related and tracking data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, such as security, performance measurement, troubleshooting, and improving the Services. Retention periods can vary based on the type of cookie/technology and our operational needs. Where feasible, we use aggregated or de-identified analytics data to support longer-term product improvement. Retention is subject to applicable law. - United States and Canada Users
ABALink currently provides the Services to users in the United States and Canada. We aim to provide clear notice and meaningful controls consistent with applicable U.S. state privacy laws and Canadian privacy principles (including PIPEDA concepts such as identifying purposes and limiting use). If ABALink expands to other regions or if applicable law changes, we may update our cookie practices and user choice mechanisms accordingly. - Changes to This Cookies & Tracking Policy
We may update this Cookies & Tracking Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by updating the “Last Updated” date and/or providing notice through the Services or by email, consistent with our Terms & Conditions). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
