When I began my journey as a supervisee, I imagined supervision as a formative, inspiring stage of growth — a space to think critically, refine clinical judgment, and learn what it truly means to become an independent behavior analyst. But the reality was different. Perhaps the most frustrating part was finding a supervisor who was not only available but genuinely willing to mentor beyond simply signing forms and tracking requirements. Supervision sometimes felt reduced to logistics: counting hours, documenting percentages, and navigating systems that were anything but intuitive. And then there was the tracking itself — recording supervision hours through impractical, fragmented methods that made an already demanding process even more complex. That experience planted a seed. ABALink was born from that lived reality — from the need for something better. A platform created for those who, like me, are building their path toward becoming behavior analysts and deserve a process that feels structured, supportive, and human. ABALink is designed for both supervisors and supervisees. It exists to foster a harmonious, organized, and meaningful interaction between mentors and future analysts.
